Kendall A. Minter, Advisory Board
Kendall Minter is a senior partner at the Atlanta based firm of Sales Goodloe & Golden where he leads the entertainment department and focuses on the music business. Kendall has also been Of Counsel to the New York City entertainment law firm Rudolph & Beer since 1996 and he maintains an office in midtown Manhattan.
Kendall's client list is varied and extensive. A sampling of Kendall's varied clients, past and present, includes: Desmond Tutu, Ashanti, Miriam Makeba, The Backstreet Boys, Teddy Riley, Hugh Masekela, The Government of Jamaica, Musiq Soulchild, Shabba Ranks, Lena Horne and Peter Tosh.
Kendall is a co-founder and member of the Board of Directors of the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association. He is the Chairman of the Rhythm & Blues Foundation and also serves on the Board of Trustees as a Founding Trustee. Kendall is a member of the Board of the Living Legends Foundation.
He was an adjunct professor of law at Benjamin Cardozo School of Law, and is a frequent lecturer for Practicing Law Institute, BRE, Impact and numerous other organizations as well as being a frequent contributor and columnist for several music industry trade publications.
Prior to entering private practice, Kendall was an attorney at Fairchild Industries where he served as Associate General Counsel and Corporate Representative for Broadcasting.
Kendall has both a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a J.D. from Cornell University's Law School.
